This spreadsheet maps out my 28-week training program, and tracks my kilometers and time for each run. It has been developed through reviewing multiple ultra training plans, and melding it with previously successful marathon training plans that I have used.
The venues for the training runs will vary. short mid-week runs are likely to be along the Yarra River, around ‘The Tan’, or even (gasp!) on a treadmill. The weekend runs will be done around ‘The Tan’ (the venue of the target August 2013 ultra), or where ever I am if I am travelling.
Will this training plan work? No idea. Will there be days when I can’t be bothered? Absolutely. Will I run regardless? Yes.
